Cooperative Calendar of Student Art Contest
Indiana K-12 students are invited to enter the Cooperative Calendar of Student Art Contest for a chance to illustrate an award-winning wall calendar. Each year, 13 first-place winners and up to nine honorable mention winners will have their artwork featured in the calendar - and will receive cash prizes. Winners will also have their artwork displayed at the annual Hoosier Salon exhibit.

Indiana Electric Cooperative Page Day*
Page Day with the Indiana Senate gives students an opportunity to learn about their state government and how bills become law. Highlights include a Statehouse tour, mock bill activity, speakers and other educational activities. Students may have the opportunity to see the Indiana Legislature in action and meet their legislator. The program is open to high school students.

Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.*
During the month of June, Indiana's electric cooperatives sponsor an unforgettable educational adventure to Gettysburg and Washington, D.C., for high school seniors-to-be. This seven-day trip includes visits with Indiana's congressional leaders on Capitol Hill and a rally with more than 1,800 student delegates from across the country.

Touchstone Energy Camp*
A fun and unique camp experience for students entering seventh grade. The camp takes place in early June and gives kids a chance to learn more about energy while making new friends and enjoying lots of activities and games. This three-day camp includes many activities, including horseback riding, electric cooperative education, rock climbing, swimming, and much more.

Youth Power and Hope Awards
The Youth Power and Hope Awards program honors students in fifth through eighth grades who are leaders in their communities. This program is open to all Indiana students in those grades. Potential winners include church volunteers, active 4-H'ers, or those who support local hospitals or community organizations, for example.
Five winners each year will be travel to Indianapolis in December to be recognized and attend a special program in their honor. In addition, winners will be featured in Indiana Connections.
