FROM THE EDITOR
Welcome

It is with great excitement that I introduce you to REMC Connect, our new digital magazine created with you in mind. This publication marks a fresh chapter in how Southeastern Indiana REMC communicates with and serves our members. Designed to replace our print magazine and electronic newsletter, REMC Connect is your one-stop destination for all things co-op, from energy tips and fiber updates to member stories and community events.
Why the change? We wanted to offer a more dynamic, timely, and environmentally friendly way to share the information that matters most to you. Rising printing, paper, and postage costs have made a printed magazine less practical, and transitioning to a digital platform allows us to allocate resources more efficiently. With a digital platform, we can provide updates faster and include interactive features like clickable links, videos, and downloadable resources. We hope REMC Connect will become your trusted source for staying connected with your co-op.

Reflecting on 2024 and looking ahead to 2025
As we close out 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an extraordinary year for Southeastern Indiana REMC. This year, we have lived out our mission— “to safely provide reliable electricity and diversified services to the members and communities we serve”— with remarkable dedication and innovation.
From launching new member-focused initiatives to strengthening our infrastructure, 2024 has been a year of growth and progress. It’s also been a year where we’ve laid the foundation for an even brighter future in 2025.
