INVESTING in the Future
At Southeastern Indiana REMC, we are committed to engaging with students and job seekers to inspire future careers in the energy industry. Already this year, we had the opportunity to participate in several career and job fairs, including those at South Ripley Elementary School, Canaan Community Academy, and the Ripley County Chamber. These events allowed us to connect with young professionals, answer questions about careers in the electric cooperative world, and highlight the impact of working in our industry.

Through these fairs, we introduced attendees to the many career paths within the cooperative, from engineering and linework to customer service, IT, and business operations. By sharing our experiences and industry knowledge, we hope to encourage the next generation of skilled professionals to explore opportunities in energy and technology.

These career fairs also provided a chance to strengthen our relationships within the community and demonstrate our commitment to workforce development. As we met students and job seekers, we discussed the essential role Southeastern Indiana REMC plays in powering homes, businesses, and schools throughout our service area.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to visit with us and learn more about the opportunities available at Southeastern Indiana REMC. Events like these help shape a brighter future, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to support and inspire the workforce of tomorrow.
